Meet Kerryn

A self-taught contemporary artist based in New Jersey, Kerryn creates layered paintings that bring energy, presence, and story into a space. Before fully stepping into her art practice, she spent most of her career as a fundraising director, raising millions of dollars by listening closely to donors’ stories and what inspires them to give. That human connection was always her favorite part of the work. Deeply intuitive and drawn to storytelling, she now brings that same sense of feeling and connection to her art, where paint says the things words can’t.

Artist Statement

I'm inspired by people and fascinated by the way memories and experiences shape who we become. —The crazy, the inspirational, and the simplest become the most unforgettable and how we quietly carry them with us. I believe our stories mean everything, the moments may pass, but they don’t really leave us.

Working with acrylic, oil stick, and charcoal, I create paintings that are layered with emotion, and lived experience.
