A New Day Collection Was inspired by my father after his stroke, when his days and nights became confused. One morning, he looked at an abstract painting over his bed and called it a “mouse house.” From then on, I told him to stay in bed until he saw the mouse house. To me, this work is about comfort, hope, and the feeling of a new day beginning by taking one tiny step at a time.
